PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
NC-YLD is a high-performance organophilic clay for the NC-TECH and Invert Oil Emulsion Systems. It yields rapidly, even under low-shear conditions, and provides superior rheology with low-plastic viscosities.

APPLICATION
NC-YLD is a new type of organophilic clay which provides viscosity in all oil -based muds. The clay is manufactured by a patented high-energy process using a new amine surfactant. It results in rapid yield even under low-shear mixing conditions. NC-YLD will achieve 75% of its maximum yield under low pressure mixing and 100% yield after one circulation. This is in marked contrast to conventional organophilic clay viscosifiers.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
3 - 10 lb/bbl. The exact dose of NC-YLD will depend on: the type of oil used, the oil/water ration and mud weight and on the yield point required.
PACKAGING
NC-YLD is available in 25 kg sacks, palletized as 40 sacks per pallet.
