ALUMINUM STEARATE is a surface active agent for deforming water-based fluids and completion fluids.

APPLICATION

ALUMINUM STEARATE may be used as a defoamer in gyp, KCl, NaCl and lignin sulfonate systems. Due to its special structural features.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

  • ALUMINUM STEARATE is insoluble in water and must therefore be dissolved in diesel prior to use. This is best accomplished by mixing 2.5 - 5 Kg. (5.5 -11 Lb.)
  • ALUMINUM STEARATE with 20 liters (5.3 US Gal.) of diesel oil and allowing the solution to drip slowly into the drilling fluid.

PACKAGING

ALUMINUM STEARATE is available in 15 kg sacks, palletized as 40 sacks per pallet.
