APPLICATION
CLAYSURE is an effective clay inhibitor for water-sensitive formations. CLAYSURE has a small radius of hydration and is easily substituted on the exchange sites for the sodium ion, thereby effectively blocking the site for water hydration. CLAYSURE is designed to be used at pH values of 10.5, or less.
FEATURES
Excellent biodegradability (>60% by DOC Method), chloride free, non-oil wetting and non-foaming. Essentially non-toxic (includes oral toxicity, dermal toxicity, and aquatic toxicity). Small ionic radius and strongly cationic. Equipment in standard mud kit can test for residual amine concentrations.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
Normal concentrations range from 0.3 to 3% by volume depending upon the application.
PACKAGING
CLAYSURE is available 55 US gallon (208.19 l) drums, palletized as 4 drums per pallet.
