PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
NC-THIN deflocculant is used as a thinner and conditioner for oil-based muds. It reduces viscosity and gel strengths through the action of macro-molecules, which deflocculate solids in the mud without the need for dilution or changing the oil-to-water ratio.

APPLICATION
NC-THIN is a thinner and fluid conditioner for oil-based muds with high viscosity and gel strengths caused by a high content of colloidal solids. It reduces viscosity and gel strengths through the action of macro-molecules, which deflocculate solids in the mud without the need for dilution or changing the oil-to-water ratio when volume increases are undesirable.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
- Typical NC-THIN treatments range from 1 to 2 lb/bbl (2.85 to 5.7 kg/m3) or 14 to 28 gal/100 bbl (3.3 to 6.6 l/m3).
- The product should be added slowly to the system over one complete circulation to ensure an even distribution of the treatment.
PACKAGING
NC-THIN is available in 55 US gallon (208.19 l) drums, palletized as 4 drums per pallet.
