PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
NC-THIN SCP powdered polymer is a low-molecular- weight, anionic thinner designed to deflocculate a wide range of water-based drilling fluids. This concentrated product has proven performance from surface to total depth. This synthetic additive has a high temperature limit and is not subject to bacterial degradation.

APPLICATION
NC-THIN SCP is an effective additive for reducing viscosity in a wide range of systems. It is most effective in freshwater fluids that are low in soluble calcium. It also used most often in low-solids, non-dispersed polymer systems and in high-temperature applications.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
Add 0.5 - 2.0 lb/bbl (1.4 - 5.7 kg/m) of NC-THIN SCP to the system. When adding prehydrated bentonite to a saltwater system, add NC-THIN SCP to the slurry to minimize flocculation.
PACKAGING
NC-THIN SCP is available 50 lb (22.7 kg) multi-ply paper sacks, palletized as 40 sacks per pallet.
